01 / The challenge
Businesses wanted to use WhatsApp as a serious sales and support channel, but the official Cloud API is low-level: templates need approval, messages must respect rate limits, and every tenant needs isolated data, billing and credentials. The platform had to let non-technical teams run campaigns and chatbots while giving developers a safe, documented API.
02 / The solution
We designed a multi-tenant architecture where each business connects its own WhatsApp number and works inside an isolated workspace. A queue-driven sending engine on BullMQ and Redis throttles messages per number and retries failures safely. A visual flow builder lets teams design chatbots without code, while a prepaid wallet meters usage. For developers, we exposed a versioned REST API with scoped API keys, per-key rate limits and HMAC-signed webhooks.
